It is open to interpretation by the Purchaser as to the reluctance of Dealers to conduct such an elementary/economical professional grading service. My feelings are that continuing on with past business practice’s that reaped countless money to Australian Dealers, with nefarious grades. The Dealers were aware of this selling such coins with PCGS grading.

Unfortunately these Dealers still trade, under the same business model. It is” Caveat Emptor.”
This particular COIN GRADED AS VERY FINE. PCGS HAS ONLY A POPULATION OF THREE(3) SLABBED. INCLUDING THIS COIN.
With receipts at Auction in Australia of 300 Holey Dumps and Dollars, since 1990. This is a sad indictment of the Industry I work, however never within.
Only 1000 Dumps with Dollars, exist ,with small numbers surviving in choice grades. Rarity, quality, and history underpin their significant investment potential. A chronic shortage of small denomination coinage in the NSW colony in 1813 saw holes punched in 40,000 imported Spanish silver dollars to make them unappealing to overseas traders. The outer ring became the Holey Dollar and the inner ring the Dump.
This is our first on line offer in rare coinage for 2021. Customers can look forward to many exciting coins from the Treasure Trove of TRN.
All coins over $10,000 will of course be graded by PCGS. Under $10,000 your at liberty to gain this grading at reasonable cost.
