This banknote serial number XQR 476966 is the first sighted or recored sale according to mcdonalds. Rennicks 24th edition have only recorded this banknote in this edition. Within the twenty dollar paper banknotes issues from 1974 to 1989 when changed to Australia head banner’s there were issues from Phillips/Wheeler in 1974 to Johnston/Fraser in 1985. Issues were in both gothic style and OCRB print styles. This banknote is more rare than a twenty dollar Coombs/Randall, with this banknote the only to exist in uncirulated grade.
